YarnCreations’ 1st crochet party

Saturday, December 2023 marked the first crochet party YarnCreations hosted. It was a full house. A cool winter evening …the perfect mood for the relaxing art of crochet. Beginner crochet kits were provided to all, including 2 skeins of yarn, a crochet hook, notepad, and pen for notes. Fingers were moving and hot cocoa was brewing. Each guest followed along as we started a potholder. Some had needlework background, for others it was their very first experience. Everyone went in with an open mind and learned something new. Learning how to make their first slip knot , and starting the chain was a challenge for some but all kept at it. 

Overall we are proud of the turnout. Laughs , good crafting memories, and a finger workout ensued.
